Bishop and Brooke are to die for! I cannot get enough of them and the team! Sawyer always does hockey right!
I loved how this book is starting the new series off! There is the romance and the heat! My god, the heat! There is enough to melt the ice in the arena! There was drama in the best of ways. Also getting a glimpse into the other players and what we can look forward to in the next books!!!
Brooke is starting out in her new career in Arizona and decides to go out and meet a new co-worker and is stood-up. Bishop comes to the rescue when a guy gets a little too forward at the bar and they hit it off. And by hit it off, I mean burn up the pages with a steamy one night stand.
Bishop is getting ready to start the new season with the new franchise team, the Arizona Vengeance, and it hoping to make a great impact and play some killer hockey. He has high hopes for his new team and wants nothing more than to go after the cup!
The last thing either of them expected was to walk into work the next day and see each other again - Bishop as the player and Brooke as the "boss". Her father, the teams coach, walks in and finds them in a intimate embrace and Brooke flubs that they are dating... no, not just dating... but ENGAGED!
