I don't generally enjoy things that strike me as mystery box-y, but for some reason I found this one to be really satisfying. Definitely helped to have strong emotional attachments to the characters already and I think that Harrow was trying to unravel some of the mysteries herself really helped with that. I really loved the vibes of this book and I think without the goofy tone and references to the remnants of current culture I'd be a bit less excited for the next one.
