Rogue Lawyer by John Grisham
4.0

This is a great book, but be warned the stories are told in a vignette style- the whole book revolves around the main character but the stories are not linked.

I really liked Sebastian's high sense of duty in the law profession. And the synopsis certainly points to the fact that this book will involve a lawyer's sense of duty and obligation to the court and the client, but I found the lack of focus on the actual law to be a part I missed in this story. For the non-lawyer this would be an exciting look at what choices lawyers face and the missteps of justice that the law currently requires, but for an actual lawyer this book is slow and not as engaging as I had hoped.
