some of the best world building i've read in a long time. thoroughly fleshed out and it made sense, which isn't something i can say of most books' world building. i didn't let myself think too far into the future to try to figure out plot twists or reveals so i can't say i really fully guessed any of them, but the plot was paced well enough that i didn't ever feel bored, so i just read in the moment. will definitely read the sequel.
