Mister O by Lauren Blakely
3.0
Mister O is a great second book in the Big Rock series, and like I mentioned in my review of Big Rock, these were light, fun reads.
I did start the series overall for the easy nature and fake engagement trope of Book #1, but I got just invested enough (specifically in Nick) to want to continue on with the series. I really didn't care for Harper in either book, so it was Nick that made this story for me. There were a lot of steamy moments (I think more than were in Big Rock), as well as some really sweet ones. The texting and dialogue were definitely memorable, but sadly I really couldn't tell you much else of what happened!
Like I'll probably say in each review I write for this series, I didn't love it or hate it (I can definitely see why others would love it though), but it's what I needed to break the heavier/more serious reading streak I had been on!
