Playing with Hellfire by Mila Young, Harper A. Brooks

4.0

So imagine a world where magic, demons, shifters are real and live next to normal human beings. This is already pretty cool, but lets up the ante. Aria has always believed she was a "normal human" and knows next to nothing of her parents. For years she has been in foster care with a Warlock.

But it turned out life is not always going as planned.

Hours before she is free from her foster "dad", she is forced to take his place as a soul for demons in a contract he signed.

This is the beginning of a great story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The three demons all have different characters and qualities and make it difficult to choose. They have lived many years in the human world and in the story, it comes clearer and clearer what happened that caused them to be banned from hell.

The heroine is not without surprises either. She is more magical than she thought.

Simple happenings in the first chapters, turn out to have far-reaching consequences. In short, this book just keeps on giving! I cannot wait to read the next.
