Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero

Rewrite, please.

There are some excellent reviews out there, so I won't repeat what's been said so well. The premise is great, the character's starting points and internal demons made me dive in and read it straight through. At one point I was actually so scared that I had to put the book down and reconnect with the world around me -- at the freaking beach.

But, oh, Mr. Cantero, you need a good dose of learning about women, gender, sexuality, and the language of the 21st century. I would have given you 5 stars but I can't. I hope there's another Mystery Inc inspired book out there, written by someone else with a bit more empathy and awareness.
