Um 😵‍💫 the beginning is really slow but I guess it’s worth it bc you need to establish the characters dynamics and friendships but I would say 120 pages isn’t enough time to establish a reason to care abt anyones relationships. I think the back half of the novel works bc despite not caring about the characters it’s just fun to see how they interact w their personal dynamics (the white golden boy, the bisexual disaster, the mean girl, the comedic relief), essentially that the entire beginning was relatively unneeded which isn’t what you wanna hear w a 120 paged book BUT the back half when the gore/horror starts is so fast paced and really fun, the descriptions are kind of nasty, but nothing that I think people who are squeamish can’t handle + the book is really funny.  (Also there’s a bit too much relationship drama✋🏽😩)
