This bittersweet story I feel would make a great novel instead of a graphic novel to develop the characters (especially the side characters) more. The bonus comics really helped flesh out the holes in story (there where a few big ones). A second volume could definitely be made to progress the story line of the kids while also providing flashbacks of Mari and Hazel!
