I read this book as part of the Once Upon A Readathon Treasure Island Readathon for team mer-folk! I really enjoyed this sequel! It picked up right where the first book ended and didn't let go. I am definitely a big fan of adventure stories! I wasn't sure if I was going to click with these books but I definitely have!
I loved the banter between the main love interests. I also enjoyed that she stood up to her father for most of this story. I enjoyed learning the history about her mother and the Siren population as well. This series definitely gives me Pirates of the Caribbean vibes! I loved the adventure aspect of this series. And also the friendship's within her crew stood out to me as well!
I am glad I decided to read this series and I can't wait to continue when the next book comes out!
