Miss Grief and Other Stories by Constance Fenimore Woolson

3.0

Well. I'd never heard of this writer before a bio and this collection of stories ended up in my library. I brought it home after seeing mention of William Dean Howells in the intro, and he is a writer I just "discovered" a few years ago. I found this interesting, and probably if I could would give some stories a 4, but apparently my favorite story was Howells' favorite as well, and apparently this is NOT a good thing. LOL May track down that bio, though, and find out more about Woolson.
