Locke & Key: The Golden Age by Joe Hill

5.0

Let me leave the professionalism I never embodied to say that this shit is absolutely on fire!
Ok so, there are 2 or 3 offshoots issues that are jot included in this volume in order to make it a concise early 1900s Locke family story, which is sad if you, like me, wanted all your Locke and Key ever-created-content in two omnibus volumes, but nothing anybody would lose their pants for/about.
That said, Joe Hill went into The Sandman and said “Yeah, this ouroboric storytelling linearity that hits all the happy chemicals in my brain? I’ll take some of that, please,” and I fucking respect that.
I cannot believe how much rewarding the final (Hell and Gone) chapter is for The Sandman’s fans. Insanely fresh.
