This book picked up right after where book one left of. The forbidden love and their fight continues.. lots of events unravel in this book but I feel there is much more to come. I was so glad I had the second book to read because after book one ended I don’t know if I would have survived waiting and not knowing what came next and let me tell you, the twists that keep coming along never stop and now after I finished book 2 I really really want book 3
