I know my rating is super low compared to other people and I feel kinda bad rating it below three stars, because I know this book has a meaning and is very special for a lot of people, but I just found it to be written poorly. Everything was extremely predictable and the plot felt like it was going in circles, which made it feel longer than it needed to be. The characters felt like they were a lot younger than they were with the type of writing and I wasn't really that interested with anything going on other than the a-spec journey, so maybe it just wasn't for me.
