Another amusing adventure in this series, this time following the ramifications after Hiccup accidentally boards a Roman ship, setting off a feud and war between three parties. He uses his ability to speak to dragons to save himself and his peers in many different ways, and is finally rewarded with acknowledgement of all he had done. I particularly enjoy the epilogues in which we read the POV of "the author" of the series, a much older Hiccup who is reflecting upon his past adventures.
