Can't Take That Away by Steven Salvatore

Did not finish book. Stopped at 27%.

That was bad the only personality trait of the main character is liking to sing ,not music singing, being obsess with Mariah Carey and being gender queer. 
The writing's not bad but not great either very fanfiction like at some times, but not good fanfiction just medium. I'm french and I see that. 
It's not like it's bad I just bought the book I have higher expectations than for fanfiction.
