THE FIRST BOOK OF THE YEAR I COULD READ OUTSIDE BECAUSE ITS SPRING!! I did have to go back inside after an hour because it started to get freezing again

Fishbowl is brilliant. It is the most clever book I’ve read this year. It was contemplative and funny.

The first third of the book was a 5/5 star, it was actually the most page-turner-of-all-page-turners. And then it slowed, not in a terrible way, but also not in a great way, slowed this one down to a solid 4 stars.

I feel like we didn’t need some of Faye’s perspective, and one of Claire’s chapters felt unnecessary, but overall I loved lots of these characters. Conner was the egotistical, emotional son of a bitch that pulled this together for me. I need to make a shelf for emotional himbos

Ian was a blast, god, I mean he was just the best. I really want a goldfish.
