Did not finish book. Stopped at 48%.

I tried reading this book per recommendation of my partner, and enjoyed the first half of the book. Emails from Max to his teacher Sarah were entertaining, heartwarming and funny and times. Unfortunately, this was terribly difficult for me to get through after the letters turn from emails to extended letters. I wish it had been edited down to 200-250 pages, and focused more on max’s writings than Sarah’s.
