I caught a serious case of 'Who gives a damn?!' when reading this book.
I saw all of these 5 and 4 star ratings and expected to love this book. I mean look at the cover. It's beautiful!
But nope. Nearly 200 pages in and I really just did not care about any of the characters. I found Kellen so whiny and boring that the squirrel cat thing could have just eaten him for all I cared.
Even the cover was a let down by the end. It tells you everything that is going to happen in the story!
