Maybe This Time by Jennifer Crusie
2.0
I hated to only give this book two start because I absolutely adore [a:Jennifer Crusie|19005|Jennifer Crusie|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1295982567p2/19005.jpg] and this is the only book by her I've ever struggled through, It just didn't hold my attention like her other works did.
Going into Maybe this time I thought I'd be like [b:Ask Me Why|45007201|Ask Me Why|Harloe Rae|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1559227972l/45007201._SY75_.jpg|69667595] or a modern day version of [b:Charming the Prince|450924|Charming the Prince (Once Upon A Time, #1)|Teresa Medeiros|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1429367716l/450924._SY75_.jpg|439559] . I really like the falling for the kids then their guardians troupe. A very large chunk of the story is about ghosts and the house. I did enjoy the main character. She stands up for herself and what she thinks is best she takes no shit form anyone there are a lot of struggles in this story. Are ghosts real? There is a sort of love triangle. The kids are very difficult to get through their barriers. and so many minor problems they struggle with throughout. I don't know specifically what made this so hard to stay interested in because parts I found very interesting and fun it was just spread out with a lot of problems that I personally didn't find captivating but that's just me. I still love Jennifer Crusie and will continue to read her work :)
