Looks like this is the final Agatha that Ms. Chesney wrote on her own. I understand that the next one was completed just a couple of weeks before her death, with finishing edits added by her publisher's husband and her friend Rod Green (who, in subsequent novels and with her blessing, will be carrying on the series).
Glad I didn't realize that as I was reading it - I might have had loftier expectations or some kind of Wrapping Up.
It was another romp, with a farting donkey, villainous foils, wry asides about political correctness, and of course the many twists and turns regarding the fortunes of her various Carsley friends. The latter is, come to think of it, what I am probably most hooked on at this point.
So thank you, Ms. Chesney. Onward to the next one, written by your trusted friend in your name. We shall see...
