Stronglyyyy recommend reading the trigger warnings. Very detailed depictions of SA. It is DARK.
That said, I spent this entire book baffled by my feelings towards Sebian and Malyr. This book was essentially erotica with a dash of plot, but the plot was so intriguing. Absolutely diving into book #2.
But again, heed the warnings.
