Hard Copy by Fien Veldman

3.0

Initially I thought this book slow and relatively uninteresting, but I think this was because I really thought this woman was going to be an objectiphile.
However, once I overcame my expectations and I got used the narrative style I actually found the story very compelling.

Sad, subtle, satirical and sweet Hard Copy really took me on a journey. The concept is original and works well as a novella and the ending is surprisingly uplifting.

Also points for reading translated fiction in #WITM24.
