I don’t understand why people are so unkind about Cheryl’s trials and inexperience (except for the heroin, that wasn’t a smart choice) but I’ll acknowledge that she had more privilege than others. Her mistakes added to the story, and planted the seed in my head that such an experience like this is possible, with the right preparation and gear.
