This book was everything I hoped it would be - where your favourite characters walk off the page and literary criticism is a superpower. Not only that, but it was a powerful study of the relationship between two siblings, full of jealousy, bitterness, frustration, but above all, love.
I found the pacing in the middle section to be a little off, with repeated conversations and circular discussions, but even this repetition made sense once we got to the thrilling climax, which was both emotionally and intellectually satisfying.
