adventurous informative fast-paced

This book provided a fascinating lens into the commercialization of the tallest mountain in the world. From the roots of the business in the 1980s, through tragedies and successes and Sherpa revolts. A great insider’s look at the culture around Mount Everest, and also how the industry is being shaken up today. Lots of climber names and company names can get a bit hard to keep track of. (I did the audiobook though, so that could be it).
