I liked this book, loved the premise, fan of the ending, really liked the mystery.
It could have been five stars, but I cannot STAND the protagonist. I understand it’s a difficult situation and she shouldn’t have to consider other people’s feelings too much, but it was like she was going out of her way to make people uncomfortable.
Also, every character in this book barring maybe two or three was a complete borderline irredeemable asshole. Which made sense for the story. But these fuckers were borderline cartoonishly evil at times.
Still, I ended up having a really great time with this book. I’d recommend it.
