So I read this before watching the show which meant that I was Shocked by the slavery, the liberal use of the n-word, and the racism towards the Chinese character. An FYI to anyone reading these because I was rather Shocked and few of the reviews mention it. It gets 2 stars because I finished but literally would be 0 if I could even though I am an Avowed Jamie fan.
