What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami, Haruki Murakami

3.0

While I found parts of this really meditative to listen to while walking the dogs, and the sections on writing to be interesting only because I'm writing a dissertation this year and it feels like a marathon, overall this was pretty boring and at times self-important. I am surprised an editor wanted to publish his run-of-the-mill diary entries and continually surprised at the world's general fascination with this man.
