Just finished "Iron Flame" by Rebecca Yarros, and I'm tossing a solid 5/5 stars its way. This one cranks up the tension way beyond "Fourth Wing." I'm talking heart-pounding, nail-biting kinda stuff.

The plot twists, though! Seriously, they hit you outta nowhere, and suddenly you're reading at warp speed, desperate to know what happens next. It's like Yarros knows exactly how to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Now, here's the thing - my only gripe. The characters. Don't get me wrong, they're interesting, but they're introduced with little to no backstory or description. It's like meeting someone at a party and trying to keep track of who's who without name tags. But hey, that's a small bump in an otherwise thrilling ride.

If you're into tension, surprise twists, and can overlook a bit of character mystery, "Iron Flame" is a must-read. It's the kind of book that makes you cancel plans just so you can finish it in one sitting.
