Insta-love, awkward conversations that are supposed to pass for bratty/dom flirting, and also awkward BDSM takes. The daddy kink is whatever. I don't hate or not hate it, I just think it's odd that she used it outside the bedroom in situations that had nothing to do with sex (esp when he was worried for her life), which is where the line gets crossed for me. The story itself is interesting, and if anything keeps me reading, it's going to be wanting to know how she deals with the news she's going to find out about herself. That and the MM scenes, making this a poly romance, which is always good to find. Sadly, I hate stories where we're TOLD things that happen after the fact by page after page of internal dialogue instead of SHOWING us what happens real time.
