Foxglove by Adalyn Grace

adventurous dark emotional mysterious medium-paced

5.0

I absolutely love the atmosphere Adalyn Grace built into this world, from the murder mystery, likable characters, love story and ghosts! To be honest, I was a bit on the fence about my rating but the ending was so good, SO good, that I’m not sorry 😜

The first part was like Gothic Bridgerton, and I wouldn’t be mad to continue following the ladies as they enter society, but the fantasy element is icing on the cake. Haunted mansions, angry brothers, and multiple twisty reveals added extra flare to the story. I’m still a huge fan of the relationship Signa has with her family, how she wants to protect them even at her own sacrifice. I’m hoping the next book really dives into Signa and Blythe as they grow together and hopefully more is revealed about their magical nature!

I’m still team Signa + Death 🖤

Fate would really really REALLY have to have a huge redemption arc for me to like him. What an asshole 🤣 kinda ironic he didn’t see any of that coming.

Counting days until Wisteria 💕
