Always the Almost is a wonderful YA novel about trans joy and finding your place in the world. I loved that this story didn't shy away from the struggles of coming out as trans, but also gives hope that there will be a happily ever after in the end. We always need more stories like this that celebrate trans joy, especially in this day and age.
