Upon 2nd reading I really enjoyed this book. I liked that the paranormal aspect was not discussed till late on in the book. The characters and the reader think its all about genetic engineering. This is an action packed book, from the first to the last. I enjoyed all the characters, each of the guys have distinct personalities and Kit is a likeable badass. I don't know why it wasn't higher ranked previously but am very glad went back to it.
