This one had a good HEA, marriage and kids isn’t my go to ending. Especially when it’s just thrown in. But it’s made clear all throughout this story that this is what the characters truly wanted. And I can get behind that.
This whole series is dark and has MAJOR TRIGGERS.
*All forms of sexual assault and abuse
*Drug and alcohol abuse
*And forced body dis-morphia (if that’s what you can even call it)
*Self Harm, Suicide and murder
When I say I read a Soap Opera I’m not lying, this story was dark, twisted and f***ed up on so many levels. But I have to say I throughly enjoyed it and liked seeing the MCs come out on top in the end. And I’m glad we are getting books from the other guys POVs. I recommend this series if you can stomach the misogyny of the other males throughout the story. That was the hardest thing for me to work through while reading. I just wanted all of them gutted for they way the think, act and treat the women in this series. It’s brutal, but has good messages for survivors.
