High Society: The Life of Grace Kelly by Donald Spoto

4.0

On a Grace Kelly fix right now and this book does a great job of adding context about her life. I wish there had been more about her childhood and young adult years, more about motherhood, and less about her acting career. Although as this book indicates she really wanted to be fulfilled in her own right. Not sure that she really acclimated to fame and her life was cut so short. There were more journalists to attend and account of her wedding- 16000- which was more than coveted WWII. Learned the term Monegasque - aka a citizen of Monaco
