The Cat Who Tailed a Thief by Lilian Jackson Braun

2.0

The worst book by far in this series. The mystery was no mystery, far too obvious from early on. Polly is more boring than ever and Quill is like some character from the days when women were subservient to men, deferring to their 'superior' intellect. It's such a shame that his attitude to women isn't made into a fun aspect of the plots in this series, there's certainly enough material. The murdered were interesting characters and it's a shame how disposable people are to enable the world of Pickaxe to continue. If the next book is as poor a read, I will ditch the series.
