Enter Ghost
by Isabella Hammad
I love how the language of the book employed theatrical and performance themes in the structure itself, all the way to Enter Ghost itself. I’m impressed by how much Hammad has developed and grown from The Parisian (which was already a decent novel) to the master of words she is here.
Not only because I’m still under the influence of her interview with between the covers, about her lecture that has been recently published in a book titled “Recognizing the stranger” — also highly recommended. But generally, because Enter Ghost, itself, is a novel I’d love to comeback to and gift to my friends.
