I think I would have enjoyed this more... 

• If I was in a different headspace (too much stress in my life to enjoy an absurdist book - but also feeling the need to finish it bc something something reading challenge?). 
• If I weren't trying to hybrid the printed version, the digital version, and the paper version.... and all these weren't different translations
• If I were able to focus on it more (see above. Stress.)
• If I had more background in Soviet Era politics / more biblical literacy.
