A bafflingly lovely book. For all of its strangeness, the story is quite normal and even, I hate to admit, at times relatable. Ryder is not a likeable narrator, and I was often frustrated with him. Then again, who hasn't been victim to a rapid torrent of life over three days, confusing (inexplicable?) geography, and the plague that is trying to remember almost anything about your own life.
