This was a really good book. It was my first time reading YA in years so I was a little surprised at how dark and mature it got in some moments. But overall I found it to be entertaining. The protagonist Nora has her “I’m not like other girls” moments, which can get kind of annoying at times because it’s constantly reiterated that “she’s not normal”. But despite all that, she’s still a lovable person whose been through a lot of trauma and self deprecation, so you still want to root for her to win. The side characters are all just as endearing and it makes you happy that in the end they all just want the people around them to be happy and safe.
