wow! what a novel. this brings us into an ongoing discussion of mental health and misogyny in south korea by interweaving the two! i just wish that we saw all of this book’s events through the eyes of yeong-hye. definitely a weird read! but as much as we see her try to warp herself into that plant state, she’s really withering away.
