The Half of It by Madison Beer
5.0
I've read a lot of memoir's and autobiography's of celebrities, i've always been a fan of them as someone who's just snoopy and loves to know about peoples lives, even celebrities i'm not die-hard fan of. i picked up madison beer's memoir "the half of it" pretty much for the same reason, ive always listened to the occasional single of madison's and enjoyed them but I wouldn't have considered myself like a die-hard fan of hers. however, reading the half of it really put into perspective the things she's gone through and what many other woman (famous or not) go through. "the half of it" is such an honest title for this book because I can truly see how much madison is really holding back from sharing about her story and i don't know if that's just for personal reasons or she doesn't want to come across as complaining (which she stated in the very first page). its truly heartbreaking to read all the things she went through and she still feels like she has to apologize for how she feels. anyways, I think this was a truly great read and it's super super short so i definitely recommend whether you're a fan or not (especially if you're not, because I think it would change your opinion).
