A Kingdom of Nomads by S.B. Nova

4.0

It took a couple of years after I had read the first book for this book to be released. I hope book 3 doesn't take as long.
I listened to this via Audible. The narrator was good.
The first 1/4 of the book was a bit slow, but because I enjoyed the first book so much I pushed through it. There were many exciting surprises, and I hope that they are explained more in the next book. There were times I was overwhelmed with the amount of surprises and having to keep everything straight.
I only gave four stars to this book due to the surprises not being fulling explained, and perhaps too much being given within one book.
SPOILER:
I became irritated as the book went on due to Ena prioritizing her kin-bond with Fraiser over her other relationships, especially her guardian, Wilder, and her partially claimed mate, Linx.
I was also bothered that Ena is so powerful and supposed to be a leader, yet she seems to not ever be able to make decisions by herself. She relies heavily on the opinions of others and seems incompetent at times. I hope by the next book she will be able to gain some self-confidence.
