A very well known book with an even wider known twist: I found it intriguing none the less and the suspense is built quite well IMO.
I had heard of the themes of the story but had never really gotten to know the full picture and I found the outside perspective of Mr. Utterson well executed; so was the build up and the clues as well as the resolve. I like thatMr. Hydes appearance is never described in detail: It is left up to your own imagination
My edition also had the Bottled Imp attached and since reading it, I must say even though Stevensons writing is very dated (with occasional use of words like faggot...), his writing style is still very good and I'd say it is deservedly a classic.
