If We're Being Honest
by Cat Shook
So I love messy familial dramas and this had all of the parts. But it got a little long and I was confused by the amount of characters. Early on there is a bombshell dropped at the patriarchs funeral, which carries through the book as each person reconciles this new information. I wish the burden was carried and people were consoled by a less typical character, but it ended up playing out as expected for me. It was fine.
