First Agatha Christie novel and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. In the beginning, there was a few things that I had to get past. Mostly inappropriate descriptions of young girls for this day and age, but that wasn’t a focal point, mostly just a brief internal ‘wtf’. The other part that I wasn’t used to with the more modern books I read is the dialogue-heaviness. Thought it would get tiresome to read but it made the story feel quicker. Did suspect a little of the reveal, but it tied together in other unexpected ways.
