Spice-🌶️
Plot- 3/5
Trigger warnings-lost at sea, mentions of parent death
Tropes-slow burn, one night stand, forced proximity
The cover of this book drew me in and the concept seemed interesting. To me it started pretty slow but once I got into it I really did enjoy it. Especially the last 20-30%. I didn’t see that coming at all. The idea of being lost at sea is terrifying but Zeke and Lexi held themselves together and balanced each other out. They both found out a lot about themselves and grew so much as people on that houseboat. Even though the majority of the book takes place within 2 weeks so much happens so it feels like so much longer. It was an easy pretty light read and I’m interested in reading more from Beth.
