A Touch of Death by Rebecca Crunden
5.0
This is a really great twist on the dystopian genre, containing all the elements we love like tragedy, angst, anti-authoritarianism, and rebellion, while providing us with a new world and cast of characters that feel completely fresh. The world-building is seamlessly woven throughout, not slowing down the story, but giving us all the information we need to know while still driving the action forwards. I loved the writing style and will definitely be diving into book 2 soon!
