Open House by Katie Sise

4.0

Ten years ago, Emma McCullough went missing and was never seen or heard from again. It haunts their town and her family especially her sister Haley, who still cannot get over her disappearance and still looking for answers. When a piece of evidence surfaces, the police opens up the investigation. At the same time, Josie, real estate agent and Emma’s best friend, is attacked during her Open House. Suddenly, the connections on these two incidents are enough to unearth those long buried secrets.

The story is told on three point of views with two different timelines. A little bit confusing but once you get the hang of it, you get invested in their story I have lots of questions at the start but things become clear as you go along and the author was able to put things together. There are lots of characters involved that I had a hard time keeping track of them. Most of them are annoying and have motives in Emma’s disappearance and it made me change my mind several times as to who did it.

Overall, I enjoyed this one. If you are looking for mystery and full of friends drama, you might want to pick this up.
